About Middle School

Welcome to the Middle School

Northmount Middle School (Grades two to five) educates boys through their transition years.  As boys grow, the Middle School supports their developing maturity with a curriculum and teaching strategies that are especially appropriate to an age group that is experiencing the physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual changes unique to emerging adolescents. 

Our Middle School faculty is dedicated to teaching boys at this age, and they strive to enrich the curriculum to make it relevant, interesting, and challenging so that students are engaged and purposeful in their studies.

Middle School Curriculum

At Northmount our approach to Middle School education is hands-on and action-oriented. 

We challenge boys to stretch their minds through an enriched academic program and stellar arts options while athletics complement what they learn in the classroom and contribute to individual fitness and wellness. 

As a small by design school the opportunities to participate at Northmount are great, creating an inclusive atmosphere, developing positive attitudes to participation, personal performance, teamwork, and fair play, all so very much important to healthy development of our Middle School boys.
