Code of Conduct

Expectations of Personal Excellence
Each Northmount teacher strives to lead by example, practice and word, to grow in the virtues of sound judgment, responsibility, perseverance, self-discipline and respect.  They also strive to impart these virtues to the student.  Whether the subject at hand is mathematics or Physical Education, each class is a healthy moral environment within which students are led to become competent, responsible and considerate adults.

Each Northmount student is brought quickly to realize that forging his own character is an essential and demanding aspect of being the best student he can be. Our dictum is: That school disciplines best which disciplines least, because its students discipline themselves. Student discipline at Northmount is about students being led to form their characters.
