It's Time for Clubs! Puppets and Puppet Making:I suppose you never thought that the cloth, buttons, and craft supplies would ever come to life. Well they will. The Puppets and Puppet Making Club will be a great deal of fun. We will make our puppets, play with them, and learn how to work together on one big puppet. I am so excited!
Cooking: Offered for the first time ever at Northmount. If your specialty includes only PB and J, Kraft Dinner, and boiling water, this is for you! Not only will you learn some awesome recipes, but also you will be able to dazzle your family and friends with what you have created. The great chefs of the world have to start somewhere.
Board Games and Chess: If your plans are world domination or to corner the market in real estate or perhaps even to sink a battleship this club is for you. Come down to the library and begin a game. You may continue from week to week, learn new games, or pickup some valuable skills in Chess. Come to think, stay to have fun and learn.
Power Skating and Hockey Skills: He Shoots! He Scores! Attention hockey players, this one is for you! If you are a beginner or the talent scouts are pounding at your door, improving your game is always essential. You will need all of your hockey equipment and be prepared to be on the ice each Wednesday for clubs. Who knows, one day the Leafs might be calling you. (Perhaps sooner than later.)
The Northmount Players will be proud to present The Jungle Book. Our core cast has been chosen and will begin the dynamic task of working on lines and acting skills this term. If you would like a minor part, we are accepting all takers, but only in Term 3. RESTRICTED TO LIST A.
